A Carmelita convent founded in the 13th century, the Chiostro del Carmine is located few hundred meters from the Cathedral of Siena and the Piazza del Campo, the main square of the city. The convent of Carmine did already exist during the time of Dante. Next to the convent is the Church of St. Niccolò , founded in the 13 th century, which still hosts frescoes dating from the early 1400s The breakfast buffet is served in the old wine cellar of the Carmelite monks during the summer and in the winter in our Bragadin Room, where you can admire a suggestive portrait of an old saint of Siena. All guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, WI/FI internet connection, telephone, safe, mini bar and 20" LCD television. The Deluxe rooms are furnished with a comfortable king size bed(2,20x2,00) and The Executive Junior Suite is composed by 2 rooms (Deluxe and a Classic) connected by a door, that you can keep opened or closed at your convenience. Comfortable room for families.

The Chiostro can host conventions, meetings and training courses for a maximum of 70 people in the 16th-century choir chambers called “ IL CORO”; concerts, weddings and outdoor presentations can be organized in our unique courtyard. Both fully equipped for conferences with video projector, blackboard, notebook and sound. All the material is available on request.

The structure also provides a private parking lot, within the unlimited driving zone. Our clientele has a chance to access and park in the downtown….a privilege for few !!!

Siena FS station

by car:
from south -> A1 Highway - exit Valdichiana direction Siena.
from north -> A1 Highway- exit Firenze Certosa.
(From both tollbooths the city is connected by a two double ways main road).

by plane:
Florence - Amerigo Vespucci Airport.
Pisa - Galileo Galilei Airport.

Once you arrive to Siena( suggested exit Siena OVEST-West) follow the direction for Porta San Marco. Once there, make a sharp left into VIA DEL NUOVO ASILO, follow for VIA PAOLO MASCAGNI, getting to the half way turn right into little square( which is a private parking) then keep going on VIA ETTORE BASTIANINI. Then, between the 8th and the10th of the street, on your left hand side you will find our parking place, it will be closed by an electric red and white bar. The hotel Staff will be glad to open the gate and let you in after ringing the gate-bell.
